Greeting Card Fun...

I have been asked to create a greeting card using one of my designs from my Surface Design for Gift module. I loved making it and I am hoping this is one of many more commissions to come :)

Individual Options....

Three days before I went to New York I handed in my last module of second year. Here are some pictures of my final gift boards and designs. Each board consists of a selection of designs for gift wraps, two greetings card with matching envelope and three gift tags. I have also hand embellished the cards and tags. Let me know what you think :)

New York, New York....

Here are a few pictures from my recent trip to New York, I had an amazing time and I was lucky enough to have 8 designs exhibited at Surtex in New York where my university had a  stall. It was great seeing how the trade fair was run and I also visited the National Stationary Show which was also on along side Surtex. I collected many business cards and received a few freebies from some lovely exhibitors!

Hallmark Placement...

I've just got back from my 2 week placement within the Development Studio at Hallmark in Bradford. I really enjoyed working in the studio and I learnt a lot :)

Here's a pic on the Hallmark Creative Blog of me whilst on my placement....

Surface Design for Gift - Hallmark Live Brief

Well its submission time again!.... For this module we have been working with Hallmark on a live brief, we got to choose our own trend and concept. For my assignment, I chose a trend called 'Clash' it is a visual trend that plays with fashionable elements and new colour ways. It is influenced by periods like Baroque, Rococo and Victoriana.
